In her talk ‘Transforming the Everyday’, part of the ‘Conversation Pieces’ series, Susan Stockwell will explain how themes in her work such as trade, mapping, recycling and re-appropriation are relevant to key works in the Tate collection.
Susan Stockwell has recently exhibited in the solo show B-Side Ecology at the MEME Space, Hong’s Foundation for Education & Culture, Taipei, Taiwan. She has also been shortlisted for a proposal for a memorial statue to nurse and Crimean War heroine Mary Seacole, for the grounds of St Thomas’ Hospital, London.
