From Line to Introspection … when works of art become the mirror of the self

In the present exhibition Studio Caparrelli has chosen works on paper and sculptures whose common denominator is an element of reflexivity and intimacy of expression that is otherwise considered the province of writing. The artist is not isolated but is externalised in the act of drawing or creating his or her work which becomes the mirror of the self. Finally, the works presented combine diverse elements and materials and yet they all preserve an intellectual and visual intimacy between artists and viewer.
